A brief clip alleging to be of McGregor being pulled over was posted to Twitter and later shared by the martial artist’s Twitter account. The Independent.ie reports that the clip takes place 3 km (1.8 miles) away from where he first came to the attention of Irish police.

He will have to appear in court next month and risks facing a fine of up to €5,000 ($5,500 at current exchange rates) or six months imprisonment, or both.
A spokesperson for McGregor said that the ultimate fighter was on his way to the gym when he was stopped by police “for alleged road traffic violations” and that he passed the drug and alcohol tests taken at the station. He has been training for a planned return to UFC later this year.
In 2019, McGregor was fined €1,000 ($1,100 USD) after pleading guilty to common assault. During that hearing, the court was told that the UFC star has 18 previous convictions, mainly for road traffic offenses. McGregor has also previously appeared before the Blanchardstown district court, where he will plead his case next month, for speeding in 2017. At that time, he was fined €400 ($440).
